Chillycalendar and Chillycalendar 2 are currently down due storm damage
Posted 3 months ago by CHILLYCALENDAR
Hi Everyone,
Today there was a storm in Melbourne which managed to cause a power surge at my premises which knocked out Chillycalendar and Chillycalendar 2. Despite UPS, Battery, Voltage line regulator and additional power surge protection it wasn't enough. The server is stuck on the boot screen and I'm unable to get it to boot.
I'm not sure exactly what i'm going to do at the moment. A new motherboard may be a quick fix and get me back up and running again. The surge looks like it damaged the motherboard. The power supply is OK but the machine just wont boot no matter what I do.
I will update you all in a few days after considering what actions i'm going to take.
Kind Regards,
Clarke
