Opening a peer connection

Hello,

I need to open a peer connection to a node…

The profile of Node A indicates they can't open to Tor (onion) nodes directly, therefore you have to open a peer connection to them first:

How do I open a peer connection to a node?

In the Thunderhub app (most people use this) there is a navigation item called 'Peers'. You just add their lightning address (as if opening a channel) and that's it. It will just create a connection between the two nodes without a channel. Once there is a peer connection opening a channel is faster.
