Done. How did you lose sats? 😢

This is my first dip into lightning and was confused about on-chain/off-chain. When I moved sats to a lightning wallet to open 3 channels, is that a different wallet and seed phrase?  If so, I didn't save it and I think I lost access. I saved the seed phrase  of the on chain wallet and was able to get that wallet back, but I'm thinking the sats I put on lightning are lost. 

It's not a different seed. The channel sats are not lost. You have to use the channel backup file to force close the channels. If you don't do that don't worry, the other parties will close it for you since you're not online.

Btw, the BTCPay server is not your lightning node. It's just a service on top of it.
