Can I use a fake email when registering on LN+?

I don't want to provide a real email on registration. Is that allowed?

Yes, you can provide a fake email, even though we don't recommend it. We don't verify your email, nor do we use it in any way, other than the two points below:
  1. To send you email notifications about your Swaps, so you know what to do and when.
  2. To allow you to recover your password if you forget it.

Therefore, if you're confident that you will not forget your password, and you visit LN+ often to make sure you're doing your part to move the Swaps forward, you don't need to provide a real email.
