What should I do if a swap participant force closes a channel before the channel duration is complete?

Channel duration is not a commitment, it's not part of LN protocol. It's just a note for participants of their expectations with other participants. Anyone can open or close channels anytime - it's non-binding. You're free to do whatever you feel like, same with others. As for what to do, you can either open another channel, or leave it as is.
