Why so much manual work if LN+ has all the data needed to automate it?

If I'm in a swap, and the node above me opens his channel to me, LN+ detects it, within the deadline... why do I have to get active and rate them - LN+ should just default to this.
LN+ monitors the channels, yet if a channel fails before the agreed time ends, I don't get a notification - I would prefer this notification over most of the others I get :D (all but the "swap is full, please open"). Certainly automatic negative rating would not be warranted, but it would help in keeping an overview, see what goes wrong etc.
