Unable to create channel with peer in liquidity pool

Hi, in pool txn 2195, the peer accepted my offer to open a channel with them, but I'm unable to do so. My lnd gives me

Unable to connect to peer, dial proxy failed: socks connect tcp x.x.x.x:9050->redwingxusk66wrrm4yyqyuyndvum4jsnloroxqmie6wv4wefadqgsqd.onion:9735: unknown error host unreachable

After some troubleshooting I'm giving up. Can you cancel this transaction as not to lock up their credits for 2 weeks?

The other party connected to you. You should certainly be able to open the channel now.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately still not working, tried multiple times over multiple days to create a channel and/or connect. Always the same error, can't reach their node.

The other party restarted their node and I was able to create a channel.
