Newbie: wish a walk-through guide when starting my own swap
As the title says. What are the steps? I tried once, one node connected as per this web site, saying that I need to do something, but I had no idea what to do next. I thought the node just connects to mine and that's it?

As answered it should be pretty self-explaining. But lets be concrete what exactly did you think you should do and did it fail?
First step after openeing a swap is waiting until the connection partners are joining and then you need to open a channel to your "partner" your self. If all channels are established someone of the "swap-team" need to run the balancing. The instructions for balancing are given in the webgui in case you volunteer to do so.

Click Start Swap on the home page (top right), and then follow the instructions on the page, it should walk you through it. If you have any questions you can email me or ask here!
