There's no way to rate a bad partner we open to.

If we open a channel, someone sucks out the liquidity then closes it less than a month later, we have no recourse..  we only get to vote on the people who open to us.

Yes, this just happened to me.

We could allow rating of peers you connect to. Thank you!

Same happened to me just recently. I was B in an A,B,C triangle. C went AWOL for over a week, had nearly all of his channels(200+) disabled in some form or another. A decided to close the channel with C but still kept our channel open. C decides to force close with me after sucking all the liquidity out AND give me a bad rating. Someone as large as they are can absorb that, but someone new like me, its a big deal. I am just waiting to see why the bad rating was given(if he will even answer), maybe make it a requirement that if you are going to give a bad rating, you have to give a reason. I have no idea what I did to deserve a bad rating, The only thing I can think of is I tried several times to balance out a node using my remote balance with them, and they kept sucking it back almost immediately. Ill accept if I did something wrong, but I need to know what it is.
