What are SATs?

I read SATs everywhere on LN+ and elsewhere? Is this related to Bitcoin?

Yes. SATs are short for Satoshis. There are 100,000,000 SATs in one Bitcoin. SATs are the native unit within the Lightning Network community, because it's easier to speak about 1M SATs than 0.01 BTC.
