Contacting an offline node operator
A node that I connected to trough LN+ has been offline for a couple days now, but they still have a ton of channels open. I don't want to force close yet, but I also see the risk of not closing the channel (if my node dies, and the other node is also dead, nobody can force close the channel and the funds are lost). Is there a way to contacting node operators directly, other than spamming the swap?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to directly contact the node operator other than here. You can check 1ml or amboss for the node's uptime/availability. Chances are the node will eventually come back online, especially if they have liquidity locked in channels.

Even if your node died, you can still force close with your channel backup. Nodes won't be lost. Typically we wait 2 weeks before force closing.
Which node are you trying to contact? I can see if I can help!

The Alias is Boltmeridian.
The static channel backup procedure works by asking the peer node to initiate a force close if you lose your node. If that peer also lost his node, you both cannot initiate the force close and the funds are locked forever (or until someone figures out a way to recover their data).
So having a channel with liquidity on your side, which is offline for a long time, is an additional risk to you too. Because if your node fails in this time, you lose your funds.
(Eltoo fixes this so the issue is temporary).
