No extra rules... but a quick mention. I have run both LND and CL nodes since the very beginning of the reckless era. Had to recover from a catostrophic HDD failure which took out ,my old beloved node (lookup Deej). So I have been around the block with this. I put just a 6mo suggested duration on this, and I totally get how people can have trouble and have to close channels. I have. But I would plan to keep any liquidity triangles (or squares or pentagons) open indefinitely, and will be glad to help my partners if they need it.
