Not getting warned of preexisting channel if channel is not locked in yet?

I'm in 6691, and if I open 6713 I don't get a warning about being on a channel with this node already. The channel is not up yet. This would lead to an impossible swap for me if I would not have noticed....

HEy yea, this just happened... can we get an admin to fix our Swap 6719 by removing Node C?

Solid Orange, I don't mind if you don't open. so if I get removed, fine. If not, fine, too.
But a warning by the site would have helped anyway :)

I guess pending open channels can not be acquired by listening to the gossip, so both sources of information have to be taken into account: gossip+site-data

Yes, the intention to open is not indicated as an already open channel. I will make it so. It's an edge case worth covering.
