Appeal for retaliatory rating removal on swap 24216
Dear Admins,
the peer GreekCoiner left a negative rating after my node triggered an automated force close. As shown in the lncli closedchannels proof below, this was an automated safety close due to an outgoing HTLC timing out (resolution_type: OUTGOING_HTLC, outcome: TIMEOUT) on an unresponsive peer, not a manual or malicious close.

How about Ella reopening the channel and keeping it open until June 15, 2027, as agreed in swap ID 24216? Then a negative rating would no longer be necessary.
Hi, I have explained that I personally did not have closed the channel. It has been closed automatically by lnd because of an unreliable peer node that GreekCoiner is running. So, I’m supposed to reopen a high-risk channel every two months and top up and lock the swap liquidity and burn on-chain fees? Dear Admin, you are joking? I will absolutely not! Maybe LN+ should adjust its swap rules and require sufficient uptime from the swap participants.
It was, however, the very first channel with Ella that was subject to a forced close. No reopening has ever taken place. So please request a reopening.
as long as your channels keep closing via force-close so frequently, there certainly won't be another channel between us. The risk of burning fees again—amounts the channel could never possibly recoup—is simply too high for me. I’d rather accept the negative rating.
Here’s a piece of free advice for you: You might want to take a good look at your node’s dismal statistics—specifically the fact that your channels are constantly being closed via force-close. That certainly isn't winning you any friends in the community. Or do you think other participants are specifically targeting you with force-closes just to spite you?
