Hi 👋 and welcome to the Swap! Here are some suggestions for the best possible channel usability and a notice:
a) Have a fee management tool in play, in order for the channels to have a chance to route sats. DM me if you'd like suggestions.
b) Make sure your node has a stable internet connection.
c) Try to monitor LN+ swap chat and DMs every day.
d) Auto-Rebalance good performing and profitable channels.
e) If most/all of the liquidity is on the other side of the channel, try setting negative iRate to attract sats to your side (LNDg or Zeus is your friend 😉).
f) Feel free to suggest or ask when in doubt.
g) I usually take advantage of the 48 window to open the channel, so I can batch-open many channels in a single on-chain TX.
I set the swap duration to 3 months, so we can check how channels flow. After that, I'll keep the channel open as long as it has good activity.
