Ozzmosis

My fees are set to zero for both channels now...

UpAllNight

UpAllNight wrote about 2 months ago

I still see fees on your channel with me

Ozzmosis

Ozzmosis wrote about 2 months ago

Thats wierd. On my end it's 0 base fee and 0 ppm in both RTL and Thunderhub.

UpAllNight

UpAllNight wrote about 2 months ago

can you rebalance then?

Ozzmosis

Ozzmosis wrote about 2 months ago

Sure, I'll try...

Ozzmosis

Ozzmosis wrote about 2 months ago

I'm getting a 6 hops route in RTL when I try to rebalance so something is wierd. I'll restart my node and try again...

Ozzmosis

Ozzmosis wrote about 2 months ago

Same thing after restart. Are you still seeing fees from me? If so, how high? Can you pay the fees and I'll send some sats your way after?

Cyphreme

Cyphreme wrote about 2 months ago

Your fee is set to zero from my RTL report.

Cyphreme

Cyphreme wrote about 2 months ago

I've performed the rebalance! We are good to go. Will reset the fees back to normal.

Ozzmosis

Ozzmosis wrote about 2 months ago

Fantastic! Which tool did you use?

Cyphreme

Cyphreme wrote about 2 months ago

I used RTL. It said either 2 or 3 hops with 3500 fees or something. My first time successfully using the tool. I am happy enough that it was successful. :D

Gonna try it again for a pentagon swap that I have.

Cyphreme

Cyphreme wrote about 2 months ago

Ah, pentagon swap rebalance could only be performed using LNCLI. Oh well, let me give it a go since nobody wants to do it for the past 24 hours.

Ozzmosis

Ozzmosis wrote about 2 months ago

Ok, great! Can't understand why I couldn't get less than 7 hops and a lot higher fee. I wonder how it would work with a pentagon. How do you guarantee that the transaction passes through all the nodes in the swap? In a triangle it will always pass through all three nodes but might include extra nodes. but with a pentagram it should be able to skip the nodes not defined in RTL. Or maybe I'm missing something...

Cyphreme

The LNCLI command didn't work for me. Error message was "the input device is not a TTY"

In a pentagram, I am guessing the buildroute command would traverse the ring. But what do I know? LOL

Ozzmosis

Ozzmosis wrote about 2 months ago

I have never tried LNCLI so I have no idea what that error means... I'm not even sure it's possible to access LNCLI on my embassy-node. I have tried doing it after ssh into the device but I don't seem to have access to LNCLI...
