Hey Gadgets, are you sure your node is up? I can't connect to it.

Fitti

Fitti wrote 6 months ago

Yeah Gadgets I double checked. Can‘t connect to your node, but I have no issues connecting to other IP and Tor nodes. Can you try connecting from your end?

ITManager wrote 6 months ago

@Anon551: what's your node? Have you opened the channel? I want to wait and see how @Gadgets problem unfolds...

Gadgets wrote 6 months ago

Fitti: I've connected to you. Not sure why inbound connections over Tor don't work for me. I'll have to some investigation.

tigertiger wrote 6 months ago

@Gadgets and @Fitti: I've had similar problems with peer connections on tor. Bouncing the tor service daemon or restarting the node has helped me in the past.

@Gadgets that did it, thanks! I could open the channel now 👌🏻

Hey guys. Node is down for a couple days while I move. Gigabit fiber incoming!

Node back up! Thanks for your patience.

@03844a782e395ddaa721 and @TheBolt: when you have most of the funds on your side, it's advised to lower the fees, otherwise you lock-up the liquidity and also block me for doing rebalancing.

As your fees are static and too high, channels have not had any routing forwarded since they were opened, I'll mark both channels as idle and will close within 15 days if fees are not adjusted accordingly.

What do you mean by marking them as idle?
