Today, I want to share the strides we've made since the inception of our very first watchtower. Since then, many users have connected to ZapTower, significantly boosting the network's security and transaction efficiency.

We started with a single watchtower for LND implementation, but soon realized that it wouldn't be enough. Network resilience and reliability demanded decentralization. So, we added two more watchtowers, but our placement choices weren't arbitrary. We strategically positioned them in areas with a higher concentration of nodes on the global map, ensuring greater efficiency based on the geographical proximity of connected nodes.

But that's not all. Initially, connections were possible only through onion addresses. Today, we are pleased to announce that IPv4 addresses are available for all our users. And to provide more effective support and address your questions, we've also opened a [Telegram group](https://t.me/+VHx3uzF1GDRkYjM0) dedicated to ZapTower.
