In Bitcoin we trust. My fee rates are automated by LNDg. (LNDg calculates and sets the fee rate based on its analysis of forwarding data as well as the current state of the channel to maximize overall performance. My default initial fee rate (when the channel is created) is set high (enough to avoid rapid liquidity drain). From there, the fee rate is automatically updated (reduced) by LNDg to the point where the channel is forwarding. When channels outgoing liquidity gets high, the fee rate drops to allow the liquidity to flow out, and conversely, when the outgoing liquidity starts to approach the lovers values, the fee rate goes up and the channel starts accumulating liquidity back.)
