hello 1gb max file size on raspberry pi
Posted almost 3 years ago by ridethefreakinglightning
I've been putting off this migration for a while but my channel db was at 1GB after compression and it was time to do it.
lnd is now running on a new server and the migration went smoothly (pending another reboot tomorrow to plug it into a UPS). I'm still using the pi as a bitcoin node (until I can do a fresh chain sync)
Interestingly enough, even after exceeding the max file size limit (multiple times), the bolt compression routine was able to successfully pull the file back to a readable state. very impressed.

You should definitely switch to a 64 bit RaspiOS. 1 GB files are not enough midterm.
