Rather it is more about decentralized, trustless, permission-less payments being made available to all, with low or no fees. Most importantly however is that Lightning takes the fees being charged by Visa, MC, DISC, AMEX, Paypal, Venmo, the government, etc. out of the hands of these international mega-corporations and elites and gives them back to the common man in the form of sats for low fees as a node operator or cost savings with little to no fees at all for the common user.
