Thank you.!

Update: things are more complex than I thought. I'll be able to work on it again on sunday evening.

Hello again,

For information, I'm still trying to get things back in control.
IBD was not complete this weekend, I'll go on this week after work.

My plan is to attempt to force close the channels.

Again, I'm deeply sorry about this mess.

No need to force-close if you just need more time for a block resync.

Let me know if I can be of help

Hi everyone,
Attempted to force close 10 mins ago. I'm not sure yet if it worked.

Thank you for the confirmation.

Again, I'm very sorry about this situation, and will try to reopen channels, if I manage to get some funds back...

You will get your funds back, send you some hints via DM. Chantools is the way to go.

My node didn't fire the FC yet. Lmk if you want me to initiate the FC manually

Thank you for your help.

Indeed, if you have the possibility to trigger the FC on your side, it would be helpful since I don't know when and how exactly "chantools forceclose" will work

I see a force-close of our channel confirmed in 911740

Dear all,

After 10 days of research and work, I finally succeeded in closing 95% of the channels, sometimes with your help (thank you a lot), and recovering most of my funds.
I contacted the remaining peer, but I don't have news yet. We will see.

For your information, I had a weird behaviour when attempting to restore channel.backup using the LND version I had installed at the time of crash (file seemed corrupted): it finally worked in 19.3, but I don't know if it is due to a bug correction or a channel compatibility.

I'll be back for sure on LN, but I need to rethink all my architecture, security and redundoncy models.
I'm open to discussion about it with you.
