Steps taken to stabilize channel connections: 1) Clearnet IP added to reduce traffic on TOR connections. 2) I2P added to Bitcoind connections to reduce traffic on TOR connections. 3) Limiting total channels to a target of 80-120, with a preference given to channels 10M+ sats, decent inbound liquidity, clearnet IP highly encouraged for all new channel partners to setup, such as using tunnelsats. (fewer low capacity channels = less potential TOR connections). 4) Closing or raising fees on all channels under 5M (fewer low capacity channels = less potential TOR connections). 5) Reconfigured lnd for easier routings through channels.
