27-07-2026 Update: Temporarily Offline — BIP-110 Precaution All channels closed as a precautionary measure ahead of the BIP-110 (Reduced Data Temporary Softfork) activation window. Why: Running an enforcing node (Knots-110) with 60+ peers during a potential chain split creates asymmetric risk. If BIP-110 fails to gain majority hashrate, enforcing nodes detach from the main chain and become blind to breaches. Force-close delays could stretch from weeks to months on a minority chain. Pre-activation UTXOs are grandfathered and valid on both chains — the only truly neutral ground. Timeline: Channels closed cooperatively in late July 2026. Planning to reopen once the soft fork uncertainty resolves and the economic chain is clear. Still support BIP-110: Running Knots-110 as a monitoring node.
